Director & Teacher Sally Thornton

". . . she makes up her own songs and loves to dance to music . . ."   her mom wrote in Sally's baby album.  Nothing has changed.  Sally has been singing and dancing with children since her youth.  Teacher, choreographer, director, arranger, cantor, instrumentalist are some of the hats she has worn over the last 30 years.

As Director of ALLEGRO MUSIC TOGETHER, Sally brings her musical passion to supporting your child's musical journey.  In class, she creates a fun, informal, musically rich, social setting that supports the varied learning styles of both children and adults.

Enjoying ongoing musical growth, Sally sings with the Oregon Chorale, and provides children's music enrichment at her church.  Yoga, Pilates and NIA classes inform the movement/rhythmical aspect of teaching.

Sally completed the initial Music Together® training in 2010.  In 2012 The Center for Children and Music Development in Princeton, NJ awarded Sally the Music Together Certification Level 1 status for outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy and parent education.  She attends Music Together workshops throughout the year.
